TIF-HELEXPO: Growth driver of the Greek economy

Led by September’s TIF, approximately 20 trade fairs and regional events, theme parks, as well as partnerships with exhibition entities from abroad, and cultural and social actions, the national exhibition agency has long been the star of the domestic exhibition industry.

Its 90+ years of history translate into an enormous amount of experience and know-how, which TIF-HELEXPO utilises for the creation of new exhibition products and its further internationalisation.

As a pioneer over the decades, bringing innovations and new technologies closer to the people, the company has in recent years turned a new leaf in its history, which provides for international networking, enriching its exhibition portfolio, as well as new actions, always guided by openness, entrepreneurship, and innovation.

From 1926, when TIF first opened its doors to the public, to this day, the national exhibition agency has remained on the front line, continuously broadening the scope of its exhibition activities, and acting as a valuable springboard for the promotion of enterprises and Greek production.

The completion of the new Thessaloniki Exhibition and Congress Centre is planned for 2026, on the centenary of the TIF.

The new Exhibition and Congress Centre will mark the start of a new era in which Thessaloniki will shine as a regional centre of Southeastern Europe both as regards exhibitions and the economy.
